The informal answer is I was born and raised in Norfolk, Va. A Church girl that got in to opera completely by fate at a “late age” 18 , lol. I’m a Multi-Genre, Classically trained performer who seeks freedom in my artistry and created APMusic LLC to do that. I seek to share the stories and songs I love. I seek to be who I needed as a younger artist to whoever needs me. I seek genuine connection on and off stage. I seek truth in this crazy industry. I seek to curate performances for ALL types of audiences. I have done the young artist thing across the country and have been told some great things and not so great things, but, I’ve always held on to the truth that, Performance and engagement in the arts is what I’m suppose to be doing, even if doors are slammed in my face, or if my talent is ignored. I’m still all around, “That girl”. I’m open about my journey because I know others have had ups and downs and I pride myself on being a safe space to let others know, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
